Growing the Seasons, Building our Foundations

We’ve been busy in the governance & finance group.

* Welcome to our new member Jill Robinson, who will be using her social enterprise experience in Australia to help us here. thanks Jill

* Welcome to our new treasurer Ian Humphries, who has taken over the reins from Val. A huge thanks is due to Val for all the hard work keeping us on track!

* We were unfortunately unsuccessful with an application to PLANED for funding for two new pollytunnels, car stickers and leaflets. So we’ll be sitting down again to identify some funding as soon as we can.

* On a positive note, we’ll be meeting Serena Allen from the Wales coop centre on Friday 11th to plan our legal structure. This is an important step for COCA and it means, amongst other things that we’ll be able to become employers, and raise ‘share issues’/ask for investors.
