Here is Gill showing her skills and love of Horticulture – planting and securing our first apple tree.
The day was a great success with 12 or so volunteers helping plant the fruit orchard saplings. Having children involved made the experience fulfilling, as these trees will bear their fruit when the children themselves have matured into organic growers!
Just like school days then! …. two kids chatting, another with hands in pocket, Teach doing all the work and no-one’s taking notes!
