What a great day learning about how to be more in touch with the Universe – growing bio-dynamically .
The day at Trevacwn and Llannon was enriched with good teaching, good food, great people and lashings of fantastic weather.
We all caught onto the astrological pattern with a very practical field illustration of the Universe and what it looks like from Earth whilst we basked in the lush grass at Trevacwn.
It was followed by a barrel preparation which is used worldwide by Bio- Dynamic growers and the inspiring Maria Thun who sadly past away last month.

The food and company for lunch was great and we all then took the mornings barrel preparation over to Tom’s field in Llannon, where it was dug into the field with other cosmic preparations to mature for three months.
Another bio-dynamic preparation was with cow dung which was buried in a cows horn in the field for a year and the contents mixed in the plastic buckets for an hour in a super vortex mixing process and then splashed onto the 10 acres of growing field by the attendees. This will ensure great fertility and growth for future years on the land.
Some sceptics may say we must be raving loonies or practising Druids and alchemists!
I, myself prefer to think of it as a more ” In Tune with the Earth” way of stewarding the earths fertility using our Universal cosmic energy, balance and Chi.
